Since I'm done with Nippon for the time being, I'm immediately turning my attention to Albion. Have been collecting art and background for quite some time now, I have a pretty good base to work from. Also bought (yes, bought!) the Gael army book from Celtos, which should give me a lot of background info as well as artwork. The preliminary army list will look like this:

Special Characters
High King of Albion (based on a barbarian style King Arthur)
Boudica (the warrior queen)
High Druid
William Wallace (different name ofc)
Possibly some sort of bad-ass Guinevere รก la "King Arthur" (the movie)
+ various other characters based on Celtic mythology

Lords:
Warlord
Truthsayer

Heroes:
Chieftain
Druid

Mounts:
Kelpie (waterhorse)
Warhorse
Light Chariot

Core:
Warband (spears, shield)
Woad Raiders (frenzy, shield, woad paint)
Skirmishers (javelin, sling, skimish, upgrade to Head Hurlers)
War Dogs (skirmish, handlers)
Clansmen Cavalry (spear, shield, upgrade to light armour)
Light Chariots (spear, javelins)

Special:
Hearth Guard (stubborn, light armour, shield, upgrade to great weapons)
Neophytes (sicle sword, chanting)
Pixies (bound spells, fly)
Fen Beasts (from dark shadows)
Fir Bolg (undead)
Lesser Giants

Rare:
Giant
Screeching Women (panic attack)
Stone Thrower
Ogham Stone

And to finish of the post, the cover for the book (one of my favourites so far):
For those of you who are interested, I have made a lot of progress of Albion so far. The book is currently up at 50 pages (yes, I wrote 50 pages in one day, I'm slightly insane), and most of the bestiary is done. It will likely be a bit shorter than my earlier books, as the amount of background material I have to work with is fairly limited. Nonetheless, if i keep up this pace, I will be finished in less than a week, a new record Tongue

A few changes will be made unit-wise though: Screeching women are being replaced by Swordmaidens and moved to special, and the Rare section instead gets a Mastodon, a Stegadon-like creature.

That would be all.
Well, I promised you a release before September, but it looks like I beat that by a couple of months

Albion is a bit shorter than my other books ("only" 69 pages) due to not having much source material to go after, but it is complete nonetheless.

Next up will be my ancestors, the Norse. I wouldn't exactly put a date on it, but it will probably be done sooner than you think, already got 75 pages of material pretty much ready to go Tongue
I have a quick question- apologies if this isn't the best place to post it. Does Amanthas' spear return to her every time it is thrown, or is throwing it more of a 1-time thing? The army list is frankly a thing of beauty- thanks for sharing it!

EDIT: D'oh! It does say. This is what I get for skimming the fluff. Thanks for your confirmation
It returns to her hand, otherwise it would have said one use only. I can clarify it in the next version of the book though.
Is the light chariot unit impact rule going to be updated to match those of the 8th edition TK? It makes having a unit of 6 really worthwhile imo
Yes, they will be the same, with a points increase as well. Can't say when I'll update them per say though, but I'll definitely come around to do it sometime in the not all too distant future.
