Dogs of War

This could be for any reason. Perhaps you really like their fluff, but were never motivated or able to do an army for them, it's thematic for your army to fight them, or whatever.


When I play Chaos Dwarfs, I love fighting Dwarfs. I can really get into it in those games, as I'm crushing the wretched and vile evil western Dwarfs for betraying their kin the Chaos Dwarfs. The jerks.

Orcs and Goblins is always a hoot, so long as they don't take an overbearing number of fanatics.

Tomb Kings and Lizards (when stegadon light) can be enjoyable on occasion too.

I don't think I have ever really considered this before. More often I think I concentrate on what I don't want to fight, or perhaps said better, what I want to get rid of as fast as possible.

I would like to fights some Empire infantry, as opposed to just the Knights of the Holy Cannonball backed by Steam Tank(s). If I didn't play Dogs and wanted another good army, it would be infantry heavy Empire for sure.

I like fighting against Chaos. Just seems right. Specifically I like fighting against Marauders, who should make up the majority of the Chaos forces encountered by the southern humans.

I like fighting Orcs and Goblins, and though it would be nice to have a few fewer Fanatics and a few more neat units, I can normally find something to throw out in the early turns to draw most of them out.
