total army: 2250pts

Let me know what you Dogs of War vets think.
Honestly, the bows on the light cavalry are pretty much a waste of time, especially if you are going to invest in the spears. Cut 'em out, save 20 points, you could even put a musician on the unit to make it better in its bait-and-flee role, or take a second dispell scroll, which you will need.

For the Marksmen... Not my thing. Some people really like the BS 4, but I just can't help but notice for the cost of 10 BS4, T3 Marksmen, I can get more than 20 BS3, T3 Crossbowmen, with the same level of armour (effectively nill). The only downsides are that my unit does not have the command or a character built in, however, that command is less than helpful, as the unit will still lose if engaged by a combat unit, and is worth an extra 100vps to my enemy. As for the character, thats a lot of points for a single BS 5 crossbow shot every turn.

The Lost Legion, hmm. Pikes are really not worth it, but that unit can still actually do alright, as long as you use it as a flank guarder, which is a deterant to fast cavalry/scouts.

I would like to know where you are putting the Paymaster? I assume it is with the Venators?

I also see that you seem to be going for a force made up of small, independant units, with little in the way of rank and file troops, beyond some shooting support. In that case, I feel it is my duty to suggest some Dualists, armed with pistols they are one of the best things we can put down on the table.
