If so, how has it turned out? If anyone's tried it, were you pleased with the results?
Lastly, is there any tutorials for doing this sort of thing?
Thanks, JF
What do you mean?
Rhinox rules but elephant models? modifying Rhinox to be elephants? (mammoth???) etc..
I think it's been done before, in an Araby army or something. I'll have to dig a bit...
I have a War Elephant in my Araby army, but I use custom rules for it rather than the rhinox ones.

Yeah Rhinox rules but elephant models.
The Elephant with rhinox rules and the Ogre replaced by a few men in a howdah. Why not? Sounds reasonable to me

Yeah the hard bit is finding good detailed elephant models. I don't want to use crappy kid's toys, I want proper elephant miniatures with a lot of detail.
Anyone seen miniatures of the Pachyderm variety anywhere?
I used this one:
Cant remember what company made them unfortunately, it started with a "V", I think, UK-based. Great range of Elephants though, at great prices. Old Glory had some good ones too.

Vendel Miniatures, I believe, from their Ancient Indian range.

At £11-12 a time, well worth it - I have some in both my Indian and Alexandrian Successor armies.
Smaller than a Rhinox model, but easily useable.
Very nice. Thanks all for your advice

just wondering, why don't you just use the giant rules?
Thats actually a pretty good idea!
Did this quite some time ago
And I always liked these
