What tournament does not allow RoR for Dogs of War? I have never heard of one like that.
I am the opposite, I have never seen one that DOES allow them!
List advice, dont upgrade the rhinox to a thunderlord, means you can be challenged which is bad and the that plus one extra attack is not worth 24 odd points.

I'm same as Tarastop... Never heard of a tournament not allowing Regiments of Renown.
Most tournaments disallow Special Characters, sure. But none of our Regiments of Renown fall under that category.
Really, any tournament that doesn't allow Regiments of Renown, the Dogs of War player should be arguing that they're not special characters, they're just a 'unique' part of our list. If they're allowing stuff like Indy CD, even worse.
Any tournament I've seen in Australia specifically states that "Dogs of War can only be taken in a Dogs of War army. Rhinox Riders can be taken in Ogres as well".
Damm NZ having to be different.
Reason why is people are scared of a little dragon... but they do compensate the Dogs of War army list with an additional 750 victory points to begin with
They what?
Scared of a Dragon in 2k+, where basically anyone can take a lord on <insert big monster her> or twin hydras/abominations.
I dunno, just seems like they're trying to kill off an already meh list by making it more unnatractive.
In the US as long as they allow Dogs of War in the tournament then RoR are allowed. They are part of the standard army list. The only tourney that did not allow Dogs of War was one run by GW itself -- interestingly enough they allowed Chaos Dwarves from Ravening Hordes.
All independent GT allow Dogs of War with RoR. If NZ does not then have them look at all of the tournament rules that are posted online.
Here are 2 tournaments that allow them. They are both in Ohio.
The first one has about 40 players. I came in 5th this year with a Dogs of War army using RoR without Dragon.
The second one will have about 100 people playing in it this year. Hope to do well there as well.

Hopefully you can convince your tournament organizers to give you a chance at least. The full list is underpowered let alone the basic one.
Good luck.
Just looked at a player pack for Nicon at the start of June that allows them, so thats good at least, pity its a bit of a distance to travel.
• Dogs of War armies may be used as published in the Chronicles 2004, including all Regiments of Renown published in the Chronicles 2004 and in White Dwarf, and released in Australia at least 1 month before the commencement of the tournament.
• Non Dogs of War armies may not include Dogs of War or Regiments of Renown units - with the exception that the Ogre Rhinox cavalry are allowed and in Ogre Kingdom armies.
• Dogs of War units of Pikemen, Heavy Cavalry and Paymaster's Bodyguard can carry a magic banner up to a value of 50 pts.
Player pack for Tin Soldiers 3 is on my work email, not sure if they allow them and no mention of them in the Runfang III pack.

Dogs of war may only choose magic items from the Dogs of War magic items list. warbanner is 25 points... so what is the point in giving them a 50 points value for banners
it's me no doubt about that... it must be me

I've seen that before and always chuckled. I assume it's because they were planning on actual Dogs of War magic items being released.
No idea why. It's just been like that.
The one thing that I wonder about is... can you use the Amazon Serpent Priestess from White Dwarf. Since technically she's from White Dwarf. Just an interesting thing, because she's not a half bad replacement for the Truthsayer (Since a lot of tournaments dont allow Albion).
I like your list, given the restrictions. However, I am not keen on the Norse Marauders. They can easily be trapped in a Frenzy and get themselves annihilated.
How about some cavalry? Infantry and artillery armies hate to see our cavalry units charging down on them!
