Has anyone here every used Tichi-Huichi and his Skink Cold One Riders? They are certainly colorful, but they don't seem especially dependable--with their low Leadership value and the Stupidity rule. However, they do cause fear, and their magic prevents units from pursuing them, if they are defeated. So, are they worth the price, to test them in combat?
Don't forget that they also have Cold-Blooded, which helps make up for that low leadership. They also cause fear, which is a bonus in their favor, and those Cold Ones can be melee monsters. Unfortunately, they're overall worse than regular heavy cavalry or regular light cavalry. If they had the Fast Cavalry rule, maybe poisoned weapons, heck, ranged weapons, it might be a little different.
Lustria version, where they have Fast Cavalry, somewhat worthwhile. Because they hit pretty mean, so with the added flexibility of the Fast Cavalry movement, you can't afford to ignore them as they zoom up a flank.

Regular version, not so good. Toughness 2 hurts them the most.
I used them to good effect against a Lizardmen army oce. The Horned Ones have 1 more movement than Cold Ones, so I was able to get the drop on some saurus cavelry.
Good ideas! Thank you!
