Bretonnia lies east of the Empire now? Wow, that's weird, I thought the World's edge Mountains were there...
It's obvious, the Bretonnians are turning into wild mountain men.
And I wondered where the stench came from, when i fought against them...
As long as Tilea is still on the Warhammer world map, us Dogs of War still have a chance.
Now if suddenly there's say a big horned rat symbol where Tilea used to be, then we're in a bit of trouble.

My concern is that, Bretonnia was only southwest of the Empire in 7E, but as of 8E is now where Tilea used to be.

As above, if Voland's victory has been undone, then that's just about as bad.
But Bretonnia is now also EAST of the empire, and that's just screwed up. That would mean they have conquered both estalia and tilea, and are now working they up the dwarf holds, surrounding the empire. Unless they have changed the map, that is.
