Hello all, (first thread)

After getting owned by brets today I wanted to gain wisdom and joined this forum to see what army lists people have built.

Maneaters are excellent but why is everyone using them as two units.

Page 67 Ogre Kingdoms book states "Maneater units are rare and hence take up two Rare slots instead of the usual one"

Could anyone clarify to why everyone is using two units in a 2250 army?

Cheers
Marc
Big Grin I never used them before, but I guess some other Dogs of War players here can clarify Big Grin
Hello mzabern,
you are right, every other army, which wants to take Maneaters has to sacrifice 2 Rare Slots for them, we as Dogs Of War do have an advantage:
"Every unit of Ogres with the special rule "Dogs Of War" can be taken as a Special Choice in a Dogs Of War army." (Page 67 OK-Armybook, roughly translated fom the German one)

Therefore it is possible for Dogs Of War players to field even 4 units of Maneaters in a 2250 points game! Smile

Greetings
Mork
We Dogs of War are lucky bastards, aren't we?
Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin ;D
It's because the Maneaters are the most travelled of the Ogres and more likely to be seen and hired by Dogs of War Armies.
Thanks, I reread that section and it has made things more clear cheers
