Sure there are all sorts of uses for these guys!
I've been practically frothing at the mouth since they showed the first pics of those highlanders. Definitely picking up a couple 10-man duelists units worth.Big Grin The Laird might make a nice hero, too.

I just wish there was a good use in a Dogs of War army for musketeers. I've got 24 of 'em from the Warlord Covenanters box and nothing to use them for. I guess I could start an Empire army...
They are to small for Warhammer Sad.

Only if you use them ranked next to GW figures.

i have a small army of their Pike and shotte stuff that I use for Warhammer, looks fine as long as it isnt ranked next to the oversized GW stuff
The latest Warlord Games post to their Facebook page from Paul Sawyer refers to 32 unique minis in the new ECW highlander range. Even if half of them have handguns, that's still a nice chunk of new AHW or HW&P Duelists available.Big Grin

Warhammer used to be 28mm but nowadays they shifted to an almost 32mm scale. The warlord figures perfectly fit my estalians of the 5th edition. (I have checked my models in comparison with the Romans of Warlord. They are equilly large, my estalians have bigger heads though Tongue ) Although Warlord does not produce it in a heroic scale (as much) as GW does they can be matched pretty well.
