I am constantly missing out on Bronzino's Gallopers on ebay as they go for silly amounts.

If I don't pick up any of those currently on sale then I will have to think of a 'counts as' option.

In keeping with my intent, as far as possible, to keep to GW metal figs (not possible with pistol toting duellists!), I am thinking of using a couple of Chaos Dwarf swivel guns I have in the spares box, on the back of 2 old Adventurers carts with Marauder Dwarf war machine crews.

Not sure what to use for Bronzino though.... maybe the Tom Bombadil on Fatty Lumpkin figure from the 1980's LOTR range?

Does this sound viable?
Just remember Bronzio is missing his left leg below the knee. One of my favorite things about the old Dogs of War characters is how unique they were in so many ways. Beautiful models, really. Smile The Galloper guns were pretty small, and skinny, honestly a piece of hexagonal brass rod maybe 1/4" and mount that bad boy into a 1/2" piece of square balsa stick then you just gotta fiture out what to use for a cart. Mererly a thought.
Could probably work, but why are you so set on getting GW models? You can get some nice small horse drawn guns from Old glory:

http://www.oldgloryminiatures.com/products.asp?cat=203 - you could probably convert any of these to be horse drawn. When you look at Bronzino's guns in person, the gun models themselves are quite simple.
Oh, I have plenty of alternative models I could use - I have been collecting and wargaming most historical periods over the last 40 years, and, indeed, have a couple of galloper guns that I use as Bronzinos.

However, I will be taking part in a Tournie in the summer where all models have to be GW, so need to find a way of doing this if I cannot pick up a couple of originals in time for a fair price.

As a collector, with most RoR regiments from the 1980s onwards, and slowly getting the rest, I will eventually pick them up, but unlike some 'collectors', I will paint and play with them!

In the meantime, I need to work on a couple of proxies, and prefer to keep to metal if possible, using bitz/broken models I have picked up over the years. Thet doesn't stop me using plastic and GS if and when the mood takes me and I can see a good conversion!
