I've just joined this site and thought I'd introduce myself. I started playing warhammer 6 years ago, but I never really had any money and only played with the minatures from the starter set. However, when I got a part time job I decided to buy some more. I enjoyed playing with orcs but that was only because of a few minatures I liked, and when I tried to proxy minatures from other races, to count as orcs I found that people wouldn't really play with a mish mash of races, either because they thought it was stupid or because it looked stupid. A human as an orc champion, etc. I then stumbled upon dogs of war and all the interesting minatures, and found that when I mixed minatures from different races, it didn't look stupid. I currently have, vespero's vendetta's, long drong's slayer pirates(but I don't really understand how to use them),alicanti fellowship, leopold's company,the cursed company command squad, and ruglud's armoured orcs, and various other minatures. My favourite minatures, have to be the empire bright wizard (the one that looks like it's making a Y from YMCA, and was only available with the boxed set) which I use as a bright wizard, the warhammer quest imperial noble, which I use as a paymaster, and the orc shaman with the hood, that I use as a lore of beasts wizard.

I will try and upload pics soon, but the painting isn't very good as it was rushed for a tournament. I will redo them, and as I also have to paint some dwarves, I won on ebay, as well as some uni work, the army should be painted by the end of May, to a good standard.
The dwarves I won are Ulther's regiment, without Ulther and the 1987 edition of Bugmans rangers.

I have just got word off the person who I won the dwarves from, that he received the payment today and that I should be getting them on Friday.
I got my Dwarfs on Friday, but some of the bases where damaged so I took them all off. However, the champion, which I thought wasn't Ulther has "ULTHER" on the metal that slots into the base. The model is the one holding the helmet. I was wondering if this is Ulther and the site I saw him on was wrong or not? Anyone Know?

Just bought some old marauder ogres and a weird beastman with a dogs head....
I was looking in a box today at my LGS and found that there where various marauder miniatures for only £1! So I quickly spent £12! I got various miniatures which bizarely included the bugman champion, a weird dwarf, an empire looking greatsword dude and some sort of weird skelator looking chaos wizard. Also bizarely, what I first thought was a marauder miniature and random bits in the box that I got to pimp my mydas, actually combined to create a grenadier call of cthulu model. It's a weird swapmy looking thing with a snake palnt thing. Also, I got the Van hal and the Nicodemous Wizard from ebay from £9 each as someone didn't like them so put them up as a cheap BIN. RESULT!!!
