As we all know, buying models strictly from GW is really expensive, and for a Dogs of War army, not necessarily the best. Unless you want to cough up lots of dough on buying the very limited RoR to use as regular mercenary troops, I recommend looking through these links. Feel free to add any more companies you can think of to the list.
http://www.oldgloryminiatures.com/ - smaller scale than GW, but shouldn't be much of a problem. Models sold in packs of 30 for infantry and 10 for cavalry, great for army building. Range is huge, you can make Tilean armies, Norse armies, Landsknechts, Kislev, Pirates, Araby, Cathay, Nippon, you name it. Price level is about 3 times as cheap as GW!
http://www.perry-miniatures.com/index2.html - great sculpts, scale on par with LotR. War of the Roses and Hundred years war makes for excellent Dogs of War.
http://www.blacktreedesign.com/europe/home.php - nice sculpts, great prices, huge range of alternate warhammer models. A warning though, shipping is the slowest I have ever experienced, can take up to 6 months!
http://www.reapermini.com/ - great for characters, at great prices. Range is huge here too, you'll bound to find something you like. Sculpting is almost on par with GW, for less than half the price.
http://www.wargamesfoundry.com/main.asp - huge range, great sculpts. About GW's price range though. Landsknechts range makes excellent mercs.
http://www.frontrank.com/ - good prices, good sculpts. War of the Roses range recommend for Dogs of War.
http://www.theassaultgroup.com/ - good sculpts, okay prices. Quite a good range of renaissance models such as ottomans and russians among others.
http://www.grippingbeast.com/shop.php - great range of medieval miniatures, not much in terms of Renaissance though.
http://www.artizandesigns.com/index.php - makes a range of Landsknechts worth checking out, good prices.
http://www.eurekamin.com.au/ - has some conquistadors and pirates among others.
http://www.gamezoneminiatures.de/ - awesome sculpt, GW pricing. Check out their Imperial range for some excellent conquistador models.
http://www.mirliton.it/ - good range of fantasy humans, perfect for Dogs Of War armies. Also has a condotta/Italian range.
http://www.manticgames.com/ - this new company has as of yet only released elves and undead, but stay tuned for more updates, we might see a human army one day.
http://www.westwindproductions.co.uk/catalog/index.php - also carried by Old Glory. Check out their Dwarf Wars range, it's pretty awesome.
http://www.essexminiatures.co.uk/ - decent range of renaissance models, could be used for Kislev and Araby armies.
http://ironwindmetals.com/catalog/index.php - decent range of various fantasy models.
http://www.rafm.com/Merchant2/merchant.m...y_Code=MER - decent range of various fantasy models.
http://darkswordminiatures.com/store.html - big range of fantasy models, could be used for characters for Dogs of War.
http://www.red-box-games.com/shop/index.php - makes some really awesome character models, especially Norse
