Had to play two games in our challenge board league to defend my spot. The TK game was pretty easy since it was against a beginning player. The game vs WoC was a little tougher - he had two units of knights in a 1000pt game, although as it turned out they didn't have any serious upgrades. I ended up killing two from one of the units with a lucky cannon shot and some xbow fire. Then Voland's pursued a unit of hounds into the same unit and ended up taking them down over 2 rounds of combat. The other unit ended up charging my maneaters and wiping them out, but they were pretty much out of the game at that point and my surviving cannon crew was march blocking them around a big forest. My unit of pikes ended up charging his unit of Lumpin's (yes halfings in a WoC army lol). Lumpin was skewered by several pikes as the halflings were cut down to the man, or half-man as it were. Smile

His general was a chaos sorcerer and ended up killing himself by miscating in two consecutive turns and rolling the same result on the chart both times.
Lumpin was in a WoC army, say it isn't so. Him dying to Pikes is just wrong.

I tend to judge games by how much fun I had. The trouble with challenge boards is it brings out the worse in some players.
what was the TK color scheme may i ask?

also, i now cristen myself the sites TK expert. take that hobbit librarian and sohve it in your book of names somewhere please.

What's the matter Bilbo, Don't like Halfling Kabab or Satay?
Besides he does have to pay the maneater something.
Boy, what did I do to deserve the venom?

You can be the Tomb Kings expert, I'm the librarian because I'm the keeper of the rules PDFs that GW used to have on their sites. They no longer have them but I did my best to save the Characters, Units, Armies that were once available. I even have some for the Tomb Kings.

I usually see him running away from pikes. Of course I had him in a game where they hit a small unit of Orcs and won combat, broke them and ran them down.

That was one of those everything funny that could happen did games.
send them to me in an email will oyu? the tomb kings things.
I guess I can, so now who is the real hobbit? Big Grin

Sorry , I already have that title. The TK weren't painted as the guy had just bought that army off me.
ah.....i guess a challenge in knowledge is appropriate to see who actally gets to hold the title. master hobbit, if you will be the referee of this contest, i ask ye to make up a quiz which we will both submit answers to.
You want me to get in the middle of you two.

Personally I think a Steel Cage tables, laders and chairs match might be better.

I know I could come up with some decent questions but is it really worth it to have you fight over it. Just accept that you both are knowledgeable drop the daggers you are hidding behind your backs and shake hands and get along.
but were duelists!!!!
There are no Duelists in the Tomb Kings army.
tomb kings then!
I think you protest too much, Slick isn't even responding to your taunts.
dare i say the C word?
"C" word?
Challenge, Courage, Color?

I just think we should give up the idea of you and Slick challenging each other to see who is the resident Tomb King Master.

Reminds me of the club I belonged to, it self destructed because the two Skaven players couldn't get along.

Good thing you were not talking to Kera, c-word would of took on a whole new meening. All joking aside, As for the Players not getting along, it is the one thing that can really take the fun out of any game, not just Warhammer.
