My troops and deployment
Left flank: (opposing his sturdy right flank) 5 Golgfags, 4 Ogres with champion and GW,both giants of Albion and Hengus and last but not least Asarnil with Deathfang.
Centre: 2 level 4 wizards, 1 level 2 wizard, Paymaster, Beorg's bearman, 6 knights with FC, 12 Lumpin Croops, 4 Ogres with champ and Banner, 10 crossbowmen and 5 fast cavalry dudes.
Right flank: 6 Voland's and 5 fast cavalry.
Richard's army
Richard had: grey seer, 2 Warplock engineers, 2 plague priests, battle standard bearer, 2 slave units, 3 clanrat units. 4 giant rat units, 1 gutter runner unit, unit plague monks with a unit of censerbearers, Jezzails, 2 mortars, 2 ratlingguns, 1 warpfire thrower, 1 unit rat vermin (with bell), 1 unit poison wind globadiers, 5 weapon teams (2 mortars, 2 ratling guns, 1 warpthrower) and I hope that I didn't forget anything. [edit] 2 warplightning cannons [/edit]
In short the battle was like me storming forward en sweeping everything except his right wing aside. The winning mood was a bit tempered by the bad dice throws of Richard. (I like to win by cunning and good generalship. As Richard put it:"I can't help this!" and he was right) The photo's do tell the story very well I think
My empty right wing

an a little bit more busy centre
![[Image: VSRichard004.jpg]](http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b242/henerius/dogs%20of%20war/VSRichard004.jpg)
The left wing advancing 12 inch forward each, Hengus is running to keep up pace as well, Asarnil is hopping to the next building (and protects Hengus underneath the wings of Deathfang).

My opponent denied a flank. His left wing and his centre was held by just 6 units. on his rightwing the rest of his units, incl a 1000 point block with Screaming Bell, Grey Seer and Battle standard Bearer. As you can see my left flank opposing his Right held the units I put over there when I realised the denied flank he wanted to make during his depoyment. Normally I don't put 2 ogre units, 2 giants and 1 dragon on one flank
It were all units I had left by that moment.

Richards 1000 point unit ripping Golfag into pieces
luckily that behemoth only came moving in turn 4 so I only had 3 turn troubles from it
It was the only block to survive at all

an overview of the almost deserted battlefield. only 1 unit of slaves, a few weaponteams and the 1000 point big unit survived. My costs, a giant and an ogre unit. with voland's and one ogre unit under half strength

conclusion of this battle:
-Massacre for Dogs of War.
-Richard didn't had a lucky day, and that is an understatement.
-6 dispel scrolls and 8 dispel dice make magic almost impossible even if you bring 5 Skaven wizards into a battle.
-Regiments of Renown Rock big time!
