Logan Grimnar, finished him not long ago, never posted him anywhere yet thou.
This is so far the best in my painting skills, used all the technics there are, on the photo u can't even see all the blendings, it looks much better in real, actually. Those reflections on the crystals...they're painted on.
I guess i have to take another photo from the other angle as well.
The base is done from an older eldar cannon platform, which is metal, so the whole figure is quite heavy, not very suitable for playing thou.
I am not a fan of that style of painting personally, it just doesnt look "real" to me, but I can say its very, very well done. And I do love the skin tones and blending on his face.
The servo skull is brilliant too, as is his base, baring in mind my first comment, there are bits on there that are just frikken awesome imo.
Hi Darius.
That is really cool stuff. You have done a wonderful job. Its show how creative you are.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Well, you sure know how to say the right things, too bad u got banned
@Uryens de Crux, thx, I'll try to keep up to this standard.

I like the blue tone to the armor, I don't think I've ever seen a space wolf in that colour before. Not too shabby! As I see it the Space Wolves have had a lot of looks and standards over the years, and Logan Grimnar can do whatever he wants!
Did you add the pelt between the legs? The texture on that is noticeably different from the shoulder pelt. That could look stronger, but I think the painted shadow and pose draw a bit more attention to it.
Also, I think his grav-surfboard's broken!

Actually I painted him that way to better blend with space marines my son is collecting and they are codex chapter with wolf iconography.
The shoulder pelt is in lighter tone to make the model look lighter in weight and to minimize the visual impact over the rest of the figure. From the same reason I also added the green stuff chainmail between the legs and a bulky base...the later also helps to maximize his height, which originally somehow doesn't look apropriate when standing next to the new terminator models....it also makes him look like he's leaping forward and toward the nearest enemy.
thx for comments guys.
