Please try to cut the important part (the mini) out, so we don't have to see too much table and wall and can see more details.

Looks pretty good, I love the shading and detail work on some of the weapons and shields.

Though of course, we only have her word that she painted them...

Yeah bright lights and flash make things look glossy

I barely have flock bases down pat lol

Don't sweat it. I would say less is more, like what you did on the axe users, pirate boy (the bulltaur with the raven) base is really bright by himself, but I bit it looks fine when in rank and file. If you want just buy a thing of bases and have fun with, not only with it help ya with getting the hang of it, but you'll have some fine bases for model you made out of nothing but the green stuff. also can then pick the best ones for heroes and other centerstone models
