A nice steak with french fries for me

10-25-2009, 06:49 AM
Indian food.
Nothing like it on earth.
chicken dopiaza with aloo paratha
or
king prawns and spinach
Though of course a night on the beer and the greatest food on earth is the doner kebab.

Pizza! I once ate it 30 days in a row (during my trip to Italy
). Didn't gain a pound, honestly!
I also love pasta carbonara, and plain macaroni and sausage

Favorite food...
Made by my mother, doesn't matter what. You never eat as well as you do at home.
Mom for president!

I do like a good Indian as Uryens said.
I also like to go Mongolian from time to time.
But the King of Meals, the only thing that cures all ailments, has to be a nice big full Pork Roast, with tats- roast and mash, yorkies, pigs in blankets, stuffing (at least one kind but preferably two!), parsnips, peas, carrots, gravy, apple sauce and a dollop of English mustard. And to make the best even better, a side of Crackling!
Curse you Kera! I'm hungry now.

Jalapeño poppers/Pepper Poppers~Fried,cheese
Shrimp ~steamed

Garlic Bread ~with or without cheese
Salad Course
Caesar salad
Main Dish
Pizza ~Americanized either alots of meats deep dish or good old new york style with Pepperoni.
Chinese Food ~mostly Americanized (yes there is a different) as I also like the true/Traditional as well.
Mexican Food ~mostly don't like the corn shell, etc. more of a flour shell person, but the rest is good.
Grilled Fish or steamed Crawfish/dads ~cooked right they taste better then lobster.
Dessert
Pumpkin Pie

Actually, the best thing in the world is a good fry up from a decent greasy spoon
fried bacon, pork sausages, fried mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, black pudding, fried bread, baked beans, fried eggs, bread and butter and as much tea as you can fit in the corners.
Breakfast that built the largest Empire in the history of the world.

The bacon, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes sounds good, I'll trade my tea for a cup of Joe or OJ. As for the empire, I assume you are talking about the British.
By total area: British Empire (1922), 33.7 million square km spread all over the world
By contiguous (unbroken) area: Mongol Empire (ca 1300), 33.0 million sq. km

I think they meant food from India.
No deer, but venison is good. I never tried bear, but I'm not a hunter.

At least we can say we had an empire on which the sun never set.
Kera, Uryens is right, you need come over here for a fry up. But they are best eaten when you have a hangover or had to wake up really early. (Now dieticians think that the same breakfast where everything is grilled instead of fried is actually the best thing to have if you are trying to loose weight- even better than cereal and porridge) And if you're lucky i'll even do you a full roast- doesn't have to be pork, it can be anything you like.
10-26-2009, 05:22 AM
ahh a fine roast joint of beef, yorkshire puddings cooked to perfection, potatoes, parsnips, carrots, green beans and a good beef gravy
marvellous.
marvellous.

Beer. Ideally consumed with Gyros, halbes Huhnchen, bangers & mash, or a good steak. Honestly, though, I haven't met many dishes that I didn't like.

Shrimp and Chicken in Peking sauce.
Barring that sushi, habachi or Taco Bell.

Is Taco Bell actually food? I'd classify it as a drug.

LOL, that would have to be Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. As for the Taco Bell I joking call it the bordello that won't get you into trouble. Volcano Taco and Black Jack are good.
With a much food we have listed here, we should have a pot luck tail gate party.

Is it me, or does a "Tail Gate Party" sound a slightly, erm, adults only, passtime?
