very good army!

Ive been working on this army for nearly 12 months now, Ive set myself a time limit of 18 months in total before I will move on to the next project (6 months left). Since I want to use the Dogs of war Play Test version army book I have to rethink the army composition as I can no longer use all RoR. Can Anyone provide guidance on where I should go from here. The minimum pts I looking at is 2000.

For max renown points in a 2000pts army, I was thinking the following;

Merchant prince with a Famous reputation - 7 Rpts
2 x Mercinary Captains - 6
Paymaster - 1
Hireling wizard - 1 (needed for some magic defence?)

Total = 15

Any ideas?

Anyway I've re-painted Ruglad's boyz so now they look like orks, keep checking up on my progress, all feedback is welcome.

Can you give us a list of units you have?

It's becomes easier when we do have some material to work with

1x paymaster with paychest and 17 bodyguard including champion (can be configured as Mydas the mean)

Count as units (can be used as standard Dogs of War)

25x Pirazzo's lost legion
20x Leopolds leopard company
12x marksmen of miragliano
7x Volands venators
5x Oglah Khans wolfboyz
12x Long Drongs slayer pirates
2x Bronzinos Galloper guns

RoR

12x Riccos republican guard
6x Al Muktars desert dogs
10x ruglud armoured orcs

I think there is more but can't think of any at the moment.

Damn this is a cool well painted army!

I've seen the Marksmen you got from me and I am sad to say they look much better then what I did with them

Your army looks very good and I am truly glad those crossbowmen will get some proper play. Please let us know when you get more done.
