Hey guys, just the regular list I use. I won't list exact points here so it may be slightly over/under but this is just from memory.
Wizard Lord Lvl 4 2-3 Dispel Scrolls
Captasus - lance, heavy armor, shield, pistol
Lvl 2 Wizard - 1-2 Scrolls
Paymaster - Heavy Armor, Enchanted Shield, morningstar, pistol
20 Leo's Leopard Company
5 Voland's Venators
9x Duelists with pistols
9x Duelists with pistols
20x Crossbowmen
20x Crossbowmen
20 Dwarfs - heavy armor, shield
3 Maneaters - 2 Cathayan Longswords, 1 GW
8-10 Lumpin's Fighting Cocks
2 Mercenary Cannons
PD 8
DD 5 + 3-4 scrolls usually
Comments are welcome. What type of list do you guys bring as an all comers list?
Good list, I would use a bigger Lumpin Croop's unit but I always feel you can't have enough Halflings in the game. Plus I would have 4 units of 10 Crossbows instead of 2 of twenty but that is again a personal preference.
Wouldn't a Hot Pot be a good choice instead of one of the Cannons. That way you have a template weapon on the field.

Never been a fan of the hot pot and I also don't own one. Basically need the cannons for chariot popping or trying to deal with any big multi-wound nasties out there. And being D3 wounds, it almost takes 2 to do the job of one Empire cannon.
I've considered 4x10 on the xbows but I'd seriously run out of room to put them. It's already tight on space with this setup.
I like the list - I've been happy with using that magic setup myself.
Do you run out of room with 40 X-bows? I subbed 10 of my 20 out for fast cav because I couldn't find any space to deploy them.
The way I deploy crossbows 2x20 or 4x10 would take the same space. I'd have them on the flanks (angled to cover a decent area), or behind the troops advancing to protect their flanks, or in front of the remaining troops to absorb punishment (and gove some) until the opponent gets close and they can move out of the way for your ground troops to get a shot at the incoming units. I've used all versions depending on terrain and opponent.

Not really, but it does get very tight so I can't afford to make any mistakes in deployment or it'll hurt me later on. I've been toying with the idea of taking one squad out and adding 10 Marksmen. It's worked a few times.
