As the subject says I have been going through the "army book" for Dogs of War and after reading it and the forums I have a question.

Can units from the Dogs of War "book" take champions, standards, and musicians?

I have seen some people post about army lists with command squad but fail to see it in the unit entry. If they can, can someone direct me to it? Looking at it right now that would be a problem with the army but I am probably just missing something.
Yes they can, it says so in a paragraph in the beginning the list. Units of infantry can take them for 10pts each, and cavalry can take them for 15pts each.
wow ok, can't believe I missed that, guess I am just too used to how the other books are set up.

Yeah, the pdf isn't setup in the logical way that you see most army books written. Even other Chronicles updates at the time I think had the proper format (At least, I seem to recall the updated Lizards and Wood Elves lists giving command costs where appropriate).

It's just a really odd way to do it. I mean, you get such oddities like Duellists can take Standard Bearers, Dwarves with Crossbows gets +1 ballistic skill even if decked out with the rest of the stuff. And of course, compared to new books the costs are out of whack as well.

Our list definately shows it's age.

I'm not sure why but that made me think of something, what defines "foot troops", the phrase used in the pdf. Do warmachine crews counts as foot troops?

Its not a likely tactics to be used unless your attempting somekind of crossbow line but it would be amusing to see a cannon crew with command Smile
Warmachine Crew w/ Champion would be amusing.
