Didnt forge world make rhinox riders?
It's a fine way to blow some gold dabloons arrrrr!
But with your nautical theme maybe you could do something different like... Giant mermade creatures or Kraken Riders!
Get toy squids and mount up some scurvy ogres yarrrr!

Relatively easy to find. Do they necessarily have to be Rhinoxes? I've often thought some Rhinox-riding Maneaters who had served the dark elves riding giant cold ones/carnosaurs would be awesome. In that case you could use an appropriately sized dinosaur.

theres a famous german company, i cannot remember the name now, that makes really nice animal models in a perfect scale for warhammer, they are available here (aus) at kmart or toys r us and are surely available in the states, reasonably priced too I think. looking on yahoo for them and their name is Schleich, should be available at toys r us according to the net
whatever you decide get some pics up either way!

Target has rubber animals, I used 2 rhinos for my rhinox riders, the big ones are a good scale for bulls, the little ones might be good for normal size

Do you plan on using them a Rhinox or Bull Rhinox? cause the one in the scraplauncher kit is a Rhinox, goes on a 50x50mm base and is cheaper but with lower stats and fear not terror, you need something bigger to fill up a chariot base if you want it to represent the Bull Rhinox variety.

well im working on it now !! i may try the bigger one latter but the rhinos still seam to me to be out of scale but i might go to target check it out thanks

Use elmors glue and static grass to make the furry look, but leave the head, neck, and ankles bare.

I started converting giant wolves for 40k, and one of the ideas was a mage knight giant wolf (about $1 or $2 on eBay). I forgot the proper name, but they were way too big for cav bases, but just about right for 50x100mm, and a little green stuff (which I know you are familiar with) would give you a good start on them.

Picked up a plastic toy rhino.
Sawed it in half to shorten it (remove part of the mid section.)
Used balsa to re-connect, then plumbers' putty to fill.
Will keep you informed as I progress.
In the mean time, my forgeworld ones :
