Heh um sure if you want the site to go kaput.

In a lot of ways it actually made thing much better in the long run. I'm taking a much more disciplined approach to adding features. I have not gone onto a new feature without having what I was working on functional first, it's been my new mantra for the site. While it sucked the site got hosed behind the scenes everything is running much, much better and with less clutter. In a short time we will be right back to where we were in terms of user base.

Most nights I'm doing something, tweaking this or that or coordinating with the likes of Xander or Servius.

Now with all that said there are further updates like bumping the version of MyBB and the theme but again planning and careful backups first.

Lastly I am strongly considering moving the site to a new host come January.

Willmark, I just want to say, its and excellently designed site and very easy to get around, well done!

I am of course (and I hope you know) am speaking in jest, you guys do an awesome job

You only sacrificed chickens? Five of my local Redshirts were thrown into a sacrificial pit on Albion... I told the Gods that if they didn't get our site back up soon I'd send more of them to join them. After a while they couldn't take all the pestering to buy the newest Codex and spearhead and agreed that the site would return.

Easier than the CDO crash though, then we had to sacrifice Tallhat...[/injoke]

Congrats everyone we are back to 200 members again. Next milestone is 500. For reference the old dogsofwar.tv site folded at just over 200 members so we are doing well.

On a related not some of my time is now freed up so I can devote a bit more time to the site. Plus I will advertising the latest Issue of the Word of Hashut web wide shortly so I imagine there will be some more traffic here soon

Important note, we are now over 300! Go Dogs of War go!
