Not so much a full battle report, but just a note to say that tonight my Estalians forced the Chaos Dwarves to conceed, so badly were they being beaten. And we owe it all to Voland's Venator's (who for background and fluff reasons are being modled as a local contingent of the Knights of the Blazing Sun).

This one unit, 9 Knights strong, killed a unit of Dwarves, then while chasing a hobgoblin champion on wolfback rolled into a rocket-launching war machine, then rolled into another unit of goblins riding wolves, before finally killing the aforementioned hobgoblin champion. It was stunning... and it seems the Venator's are one of the Regiments that are worth every one of their points.
Did you write a full battle report and take pictures?

No?

Could have been a nice read in a future issue of Gold and Glory.

Check that sentence Bilbo.

Good job Braden on killing the evil stunties. Voland's in indeed one of our best units. What were the armylists? What else went well/bad?

I did, that is why I wrote my post the way I did.

I'm assuming the Chaos Dwarf player didn't field a Taurus or Lammasu, because they could have really caused problems for Vorland's (Causes Terror).

So could have Bull Centaurs.
