Here it is back and reloaded, the first issue of Gold and Glory, the inaugural issue of Dogs of War Online's ezine!
Inside you will find us putting our best foot forward and trying out new things here and there as we explore how to create and promote our army.
There are tactical articles as well as great minis from around the web, as time goes by and more are added to the site we will be looking to feature more and more of the members Dogs of War minis.
NOTE: As always for those with lower speed internet connections you can access a low res (its 3.1 megs) version here (caution it will look terrible if you print it from this file) http://dogsofwaronline.com/pdf/dowgoldandglory1lr.pdf

Click here to download Issue #2 of Gold and Glory
Welcome back everyone and here it is the second issue of the ezine of Dogs of War Online: Gold and Glory!
This time rather then me taking the reins, I passed them over to Baumann and his crew. Hats off to all of them for the fine job, and all of the hard work. As I have told them all along the first issue is the toughest as it takes a bit of experience under the belt to get it rolling. This was their first issue in essence as last time I created the whole thing and there was not much more then Maul and I to the staff. So experience being the best teacher I let them have at it.
Inside you will find a wealth of lore as well numerous articles for the decerning Dogs of War general. I wont go and spoil it, suffice to say there is lots to look through so start downloading it now!
Also a special call out needs to go to Malorn for contributing the Birdman of Catrazza on exceptionally short notice. It was a team effort between Bilbo and I from then on to get it together.
So everyone please extend a warm round of thanks to all of the Gold and Glory staff and especially Bilbo as it is not easy to create an ezine, of this I know first hand
NOTE: I did not create a low rez version this time around immediately, but it will be added later as well as possible link to http://issuu.com link in the not-to-distant future.
In closing enjoy and look for Issue #3 sometime in December.
NOTE: There is some sort of weird line issue going on with the front cover that we will look into as to qhy its happening.

Click here to download Issue #3 of Gold and Glory
Coming in a bit later then usual is Issue #3 of Gold an Glory the ezine of Dogs of War Online.
In this issue you will find the usual fare for the mercenary general, but you'll notice that it is a bit light on the content side... Baumann informed me that there were many broken promises of art that was alluded to and articles.
Suffice of to say I'm going to be stepping in to help out on all facets of the ezine and will most likely be doing the layout for it. that does not solve one key problem, that of output for the ezine in terms of content.
I dont want to belabor the point as Baumann and the team did a fairly good job all things considered. As many of you know I also produce the Word of Hashut for Chaos Dwarfs Online. In order to do so I'm going to need everyone's help as I cannot do it all. So when the Submissions Coordinator comes calling with deadline, the only answer I should be hearing is "Its done and in!"
So enough on that and enjoy the fruits of the team's efforts. And know that going forward we WILL be taking this up several notches in the design department. In fact so much so I look at my work on Gold and Glory #1 and think "Man, I can do better then that!"
Consider the gauntlet thrown down to the community as a whole, how will you respond?
So here it is Issue #3 focusing on Duelists, Army building and letters to the forum, enjoy the read!

Click here to download Issue #4 of Gold and Glory
If any of you read the Word of Hashut you know it seems to be impossible for me to ever get a ezine out on time. So with that said why should Gold and Glory be any different?
Thanks for all your patience folks as this one has been a bit of a haul for me with everything going on in my life. No excuse I know but as with many things it is what it is.
Inside this awesome issue you will find a wealth of great art, and articles and a great battle report to boot. There is an amazing amount of content so as I often say I wont ruin it for everyone.
I also want to thank the entire group that helped work on this, you can see all of the folks who contributed inside of the ezine itself.
For those that want a bit smaller of a file you can download the low resolution one here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/tlizjouomj...ry_4lr.pdf
For those inclined to using Issuu: (this will be uploaded shortly).
