We want your help with putting the finishing touches on the armybook project in several departments, including:

Pictures - quality, pictures of every ROR (preferably in the classic paint scheme), regular mercenary units, characters, and special characters of all types. If you have mercenary/Tilean terrain that would be excellent as well. Don't submit pictures owned by GW as they own the copyright to those and thus we can't use them.

Fluff - compact and quality mercenary fluff similar to the various short fluff stories found throughout armybooks.

Cover - We really want to have a cool cover for this so anyone with art/photoshop skills that wants to take a stab at it, feel free. We're not expecting anything on the level of GW's armybook covers but stick figures won't exactly cut it either.

Playtesters - The armybook will be a living armybook. We will have a Version 1.0 release followed by a playtesting period. Following this we will review feedback to the armybook and and decide on any changes or FAQs to release. The first release will not have all of the pictures, color etc that the final release will have. The goal is to perfect the armybook so that by the time we have all of the art/design aspects ready we can then put everything together into one awesome armybook , which the Dogs of War deserve. The armybook will be released as a PDF and will be available for download from the site. Stay tuned for announcements regarding releases.

For now all interested parties in the above categories are welcome to submit their work. Please click here to submit your work.
i can do mini short stories, but i;ve got alot on my plate so i won't promise anything.
Yep as regards to the fluff do you want RoR based stuff or something from the view of an ordinary merc?
Fluff for the generic units. Fluff for the RoR's are exists from the 5th ed book, so we got what we need from that already.
I was wondering if RoR battle scene type fluff would be suitable, but its easier to work with generic units so thats good Big Grin
i could lend a hand with fluff but im working on Julnowrimo so im busy writing my socks off at the moment
is there a time limit?
because i dont know if ill be free till august
That shouldn't be a problem, the most important thing is to get out the rules, and I'm not sure those will be finished until August (due to the setback of the crash).
All,

If you need playtesters, I will be glad to participate. In our area, we have 2 strong Dogs of War players.

How do I sign up?
Threadomancy! :O

Seriously, thanks. No need to sign up, just get of there and play the list, or play others that use the list, and let us know what you think of the new rules, what you don't like, and what you definitely think needs changing, and send an e-mail with your feedback to...

Eh, just wait for Bilbo to reply, he's more into this kind of thing, I just do the nagging Big Grin
