Dogs of War

I need to create an army of 500-1000 pts.
I'm buying the models.
What do i need?

I'm playing 5th

I have brought the Leopards company.
Should i buy other pikes?
Alcatani or republican guard?

Definitely keep to one pike block at that point level.

Look at screening skirmishers and rank breaking light cavalry next.

What characters are you going to use?

joshb, note that he is playing 5th edition.
5th edition from memory for Dogs of War, is very different. Basically all you have are the Regiments of Renown, your characters + Allies.
So there's no regualr Duellists or Light Cavalry you can take to keep the points down, unless you grab them from allies.
